A new business model.

As I type these freshly formed words randomly conceived because an Ape-cestor of mine happened to have his brain evolve at the same rate as his heart, which was at the same increment as his blood, which occurred simultaneously as every non”vestigial” organ happened to come into being so he wouldn’t die immediately after being conceived which only happened because his Mommy and Daddy randomly evolved from asexual to sexual beings at precisely the same moment in time and made the leap to where everything was supposed to go, a smile comes across my face.

I am currently listening to history in the making.

For the first time Christian music is not behind the curve by 3 to 5 years, but behind the 8 ball.

As pointed out over at Desiring God this morning, a new label has been formed that intends of distributing down-loadable music legally, freely, and without registering.

Critiques, don’t even bring up Napster, Spiralfrog, Lala, or any other service that claimed at one time to do the same. This is something entirely new, it isn’t a random musician taking this risk, but a Record Label that intends to be supported by donation alone.

Techies, you’ve been claiming this could work for years. You’ve said musicians would be able to be supported by premium content alone. “Music should be free.”

Will it succeed? Download today and decide for yourself.
